We recently started taking our pets to Pets & Vets, within the last couple of months. So far we have seen Dr. Bowers, Dr. Slagle, and I believe Dr. Strode. With each pet we were allowed adequate time in our appointments to ask questions for any concerns we had, they were very informative, and they were fairly easy to schedule a quick appointment with if we needed something last minute. Their staff is also super friendly. What will keep us coming back is how they handled our pet loss. We were concerned our senior girl was declining and they got us in immediately. They were upfront about the costs of the testing we were requesting so we could make an informed decision, and Dr. Bowers was very straightforward. If you want a vet who will put your furry loved one first, she certainly will and she will do her best to make the worst decision feel less awful. When we took our girl home and she passed that night, I was able to call the office the next morning and schedule a time to take her in and they handled all the cremation details for us. I have liked every tech we’ve had so far, but Erika was there for both of those days and she handled our emotional chaos like a champ. We walked in and she knew exactly what we needed even when we were lost. They gave us all the time we needed to say our goodbyes and made this incredibly awful experience a little more bearable. A month later we received a card in the mail signed by all the staff. We’ve been to a few vets over the years, and it’s hard to find one you feel truly cares about your family, and we are just thankful we found a practice that does. We love the entire Pets and Vets team!

Dr Strode is the.bed veterinarian I’ve had in all of my 72 years. She’s thoughtful , very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. She made us feel that she genuinely cared for the health of our Morkie, Baxter. The assistants and staff made us feel wanted and their care of Baxter was wonderful. I’m so glad Pets and Vets as Partners was recommended to us.

I bought our recently acquired “boss” in because he wasn’t eating or playing or picking on our other feline “bosses” as he usually does. Dr. Ehlers did a checkup and other tests and thought he may be having enteritis and gave us a treatment plan that has helped. It’s taken three days for slow recovery but he just bit me so I know he’s feeling better. The vets and the whole staff at West Lafayette Pets and vets are friendly, knowledgeable and supportive every time we take our cats in. I recommend them highly!

I’ve been bringing my dog here since I got her 7.5 years ago, and I have had nothing but good experiences. They truly care about my dog and her wellbeing, and they always present me with more than one option so I can try to decide what’s the best course of action. When I’ve been nervous about my dog’s health, I can tell that the vet techs and doctors are genuinely concerned and genuinely care about her. She has consistently seen both Dr. Ehlers and Dr. Bowers, and I highly recommend both of them.
